Residential Parking Permits Program increases along Belleville, Laburnum, and Avenel Avenues

In response to increased on-street parking demand observed last Spring along Belleville Avenue (between Avenel and Brandon Avenues) and Laburnum and Avenel Avenues (between Belleville and Carter Roads), the City of Roanoke staff has determined that it is appropriate to expand the current residential permit parking program restrictions to these streets.  Residential permit parking will be implemented along these four blocks and the existing program will extend its boundaries from Grandin Road to Carter Road and from Avenel to Brandon Avenue.

New parking signs will be installed on the week of 8/14 - 8/18. The parking signs will restrict parking to a maximum of one hour between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for motorists without a parking permit. Only cars with a registered city parking permit will be allowed to park in designated streets without the time limitation.

Student Parking is not allowed on any neighborhood streets at any time. Towing of Student vehicles will take place without a street parking permit.  Students can purchase parking passes from the bookkeeper.
