Class of 2015 Group Photograph... 2/24-3/3
Will be taken Tuesday, March 3rd during second period. Seniors will be called from class to the main gym for the photo. If possible, seniors should wear Class of 2015 or PH apparel for the photo.

HAC Access... 2/27-3/20
Parents will not be able to view the report card page in HAC until March 20th after 3:30 p.m., due to report card preparations for the 3rd marking period.

PH Prom and Senior Day 2015... 4/18
The prom will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at the Patrick Henry Hotel. The cost is $50.00 a person.  Seniors will attend at no cost. Any student who is suspended during the second semester will not be permitted to attend. Students who have outstanding financial obligations (student fees, lost/damaged textbooks or library books, fundraiser obligations, etc.) will not be permitted to attend. Also, seniors will not be permitted to participate in any senior activities if financial obligations are not satisfied. Please contact your hall principal or the bookkeeper if you have any questions or financial difficulty.

VA State Parks Youth Conservation Corps... 122-4/30
Virginia State Parks Youth Conservation Corps is looking for crew members ages 14-17 to enhance Virginia State Parks.  For three weeks crew members will work in the parks on weekdays, participate in environmental education programs weeknights, and endure adventure training on weekends.  Crew members earn a $500 stipend. The application website is available in the Career Center.  The application deadline is May 1, 2015

Academy Day 2015... 2/9-3/28
Senator Mark Warner invites high school and middle school students, their parents, and guidance counselors to Academy Day 2015. Saturday, March 28th. Select view for additional information.

Class Shadowing at UVA... 2/24-3/3
The Class Shadowing Program provides high school students who are unable to stay overnight with the option to sit in on a college class of their choosing. By shadowing a current UVA student, each prospective student will be able to experience firsthand the difference between high school and college learning environments, as well as engage in a potential future area of study. Citadel Open House... 2/27-4/3
The Citadel will be holding an open house April 17, 2015. Juniors interested in the Citadel will spend the afternoon on the campus and learn about the admissions process, financial aid, academics, athletics, ROTC, and other aspects of the Citadel experience.  Juniors need to register for the event before April 3, 2015. Gifted Student Summer Scholarships... 2/3-3/2
The Virginia Association for the Gifted Student Summer Scholarships are designed for students identified as gifted and talented who wish to attend an academic or artistic program during the summer months and are seeking assistance with the programs cost.  The scholarships range from $100 to $400.  Applications must be postmarked on or before March 2, 2015.  For the application website, or a printed copy contact Mrs. White in the Career Center.

Legally Blond Theatre Production... 2/9-3/22
Legally Blonde performances March 13, 14, 20, and 21, 7:30 p.m. Public Performances $10.00 adults, $5.00 students and seniors. March 17 & 18, 3rd Block and Bridge, Student Performances, $5.00 tickets with teachers' permission.

North Carolina A & T State University... 2/25-3/13

Princeton Review SAT Preparation Class... 1/14-2/28
Will be offered February 28 – April 25. The classes are on Saturday’s from 9 am to noon. Please see Mrs. White in the Career Center to sign up. Spaces are limited.

UVA School of Architecture... 2/9-4/3
The School of Architecture at the University of Virginia invites sophomores and juniors to come and learn about their program of study. Two information sessions and tours are planned. The first is Monday February 16, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. The second one is April 6, 2015 at 12:30 p.m.

UVA School of Engineering Open House... 2/27-3/21
Saturday March 21, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This event provides students the opportunity to meet engineering faculty, tour buildings and labs. Former astronaut Kathy Thornton will speak on the “Sights and Sounds of Space Flight.” This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the nature and impact of engineering in the modern world and to see the many ways in which engineers make a difference. VCU School of Dentistry... 2/9-4/30
VCU School of Dentistry has two summer programs for high school students who are interested in dentistry or dental hygiene. The application can be found at Select view for additional information.

Yale Young Global Scholars Program... 1/6-2/26
Outstanding PH students, this summer program is for current sophomores and juniors.  Participants spend two weeks on Yale’s campus in New Haven, Connecticut. Select view for additional information.
